About
Samaj
Gujarati Samaj of Bhilai (GSB) is a Chhattisgarh based Non-Profit organization. The samaj was founded in the year 1993 to serve as a platform to celebrate the rich traditions, festivals, and culture of Gujarati’s in Chhattisgarh. We encourage all Gujaratis and friends of Gujarat residing in the Chhattisgarh area to join us in our endeavour.
Aims &
Objectives
To preserve and promote the rich heritage of Gujarati culture and language, while embracing diversity and fostering a sense of belonging for future generations.
To preserve and promote Gujarati heritage within local communities, even when far from Gujarat, through charitable, social, and religious efforts. We are also committed to raising awareness of Gujarati culture among today’s youth and future generations.
Shifting Priority Towards the Community
This goal is carried out by Samaj through its dedicated community volunteers, who, in collaboration with community partners, plan, support, and serve to promote and preserve Gujarati heritage and language. In doing so, they foster cultural awareness among current and future generations.
Over the past few years, Samaj has organised and planning a diverse range of charitable, social, religious, and youth-focused activities across the community. These efforts, led by a unified team of Executive Committee members, the Board of Trustees, and numerous volunteers, have helped shape us into a vibrant cultural organisation.
